1st up close and personal session with Momo. I always see the cute photos of him as a baby (but I was away most of the time then) and finally had the chance to interact with him now as a toddler who loves to stick out this tongue when his photos are being taken. He was so exhausted halfway through the exhibition and while Mummy Ros is at the ladies. I was assigned nanny and had the little warm bundle drooling on my shoulder while he goes off to dreamland. That 5 minutes was pretty poignant to me as it reminded me of the 3 little kids I spent so much time with in Austin. ( I miss them alot, including sugar mama) I miss the times when I held Kang Kang in my arms. I miss that warmth when someone leans on you.

Checked out Christian Lacroix exhibition with Mummy Ros, and I am truly impressed on how the mind can go and extend to create these costumes for the stages. Creativity…….the wonders of human minds.

Wandered into the Chef Chan’s kitchen which actually moved to the museum! I did not know that they only served dinner to min 4 guest per set dinner and we were so ready to walk out. However, I guess the economic situation made them to be more flexible that they were actually ok with 2 guests for the set dinner.

This was an unintentional indulge for the night and the bill came out to be about S$120/pax after tax and services. Concept wise was very similiar to Xi Yan that I had 4 months back. Bite size portions of a 8 course meals but we were very stuffed by the end of the dinner. The honey roasted cashews was thumbs up. Menu that night was melon infused with orange juice (refreshing but abit sour), shark fin with crab roe (it was so orangey that I felt that I had hit my quota on the cholesterol for the month), egg plant (very tasty), pepper beef fillet (cooked to just medium), steamed groupa with black fungus and wolfberry (my fav dish as the fish was so soft), chef chan famous cripsy chicken ( too salty but the skin was very cripsy), stir fried cai xin but mushroom (normal) and rice dumpling in peanut coating served warm.
Overall, I think the food is over hyped but it was still very good as it was nice and quiet and they don’t rush you. We sat through the dinner for 2.5hours eating, talking and playing with Momo. Thanks for the great company!
