Conrad weekend

checking in
Chanced upon the Hilton site that Conrad was having point stretcher week during the period that hit Mother’s Day weekend. The original saved points for other uses which currently is of no use due to the circumstances change should be put to good use since they would expire in a few months. Booked a room with a whim and realized I could upgrade the family to Executive Floor with addtional top up of S$160. I decided to do it since I know it would be a super good experience for mum.Checked into the spacious room with 46 inch LCD tv on a Fri noon….amenities spread out with Conrad Bear welcoming us.

high tea
1st stop would be the High Tea session, spread of finger food……expresso machine and free flow of drinks…….

noon time
While enjoying the beautiful weather in an A/C room and great service.

Conrad bear is very nosy
After the high tea and a short walk around the shopping area. Headed back to the room to see Conrad Bear curious about the box of chocolates.

dinner
Chilling out in the room with the super comfortable bed. (I love the Hilton beds with the down comforters and super soft pillows) We headed out for hors· d’oeuvre and cocktail time. The selection was small but still fulfilling if you eat enough. It was enchanting, looking out of the window seeing the sky turn darker, snipping wine and chatting with your mum…….with soothing music.

late night
The staff served us a really delicious whole Chocolate Cheese cake for mum’s birthday and after the cake, headed up the lounge again this time with sister who came after work……She took tons of photos and for some reason, those of me puts me in this really reflective and thinking mode….(Yeah, I had been thinking a lot for the past month)

breakfast
The bed was so comfy but then we still had to eat…..breakfast buffet was not a disappointment with lots of Asian and Western selection and we really stuffed ourselves full.

chilling
The great thing about the Executive floor was that you can have late check out till 6pm! So the rest of the day was spent sleeping, lounging in the pool area and last round of high tea before checking out at 4pm. I think Mum had a great time….pampered!

Wow, nice staycation! I like the Conrad better than the Crowne Plaza.

Did Conrad Bear stow away in your baggage and show up at home?
