Staycation

Wanted to make a small trip in September-ish during the long break but due to different commitments the plan did not come through so the girls mooted a last minute decision on a little staycation of our own. Idea thrown out on Sunday and by Wednesday we found the “best” deal and the following Sunday, we have checked in and ready for our little 1 night stand. We even had a free upgrade to the room that faced the Esplanade and that was obviously our choice spot for our photos.

If it was F1 weekend, this would have been great but it is still better than nothing to imagine the cars running through the road….a little imagination makes life less dull

We are so ready for the girls’ pig out night……..Played a little game of “black and white” to see who gets the bed to herself… Obviously it is not me!

Singapore in Twilight

It is so amazing how the scenery changes when the lights are up and the sun is down. The feeling you get is so different.

Yeah, we pigged out with our MacDee’s….and I am sooooooooooooooooooooooo addicted to the Mega McSpicy Chicken burger now……It’s so big and juicy and filling and SPICY! The rest of the night was spent enjoying the night breeze with my iphone , wine time…and girls’ talk.

The little staycation ended with some nice authentic local breakfast, thanks girls for the night and I really had a great time…
