Singlish Oktoberfest

Usually I don’t end up eating at the same place so fast but I definitely did not mind eating the late lunch at Ootoya again. This time we ordered the grilled snapper and grilled cod fish set. I also added Tororo (Japanese mountain yam)  on my rice. *^_^* It was simply おいしい (oishii)!I usually cannot finish my rice but I managed to finish up everything, I think the gluey texture and slight marination of the tororo make the rice more appetizing.

However, the main event of the evening was actually……..

Our own subdued version of the Oktoberfest, a pity that the Okt festival beer has not arrived at the restaurant yet but we still had lots of good food, good beer and good company.

Main stars were of course the Schweinshaxe (Pork knuckle with potato salad and saucerkraut, I am a big fan of saucerkraut because I love sour stuff….and it reduce the greasy feel from the pork knuckle) and the Würstelplatte (which consisted of the authentic sausage platter with spicy chicken sausages, Nürnberger pork bratwurst, mini pork cheese sausages, weisswurst sausage and garlic sausage with wedges) Maybe it was the beer, maybe it was the chats…we ended up having 2 orders of the super delicious fries and Paulaner Salvtaor definitely did not have a tinge of chocolate in the beer as it claims (or so my taste buds tell)

apple is seductive
Sometimes, I think that Apple is all so seductive as it is so attention grappling where ever it goes……
