Lawry’s The Prime Rib – Mandarin Gallery

New venue
Lawry’s moved from their former destination in Paragon to the new Mandarin Gallery. It is a little sad to see them move as they have been at the Paragon for a long time and it was a iconic place to me whenever I think of good steak, I think of Lawry’s in Paragon.

The new location still kept to their English styled theme of brown and woods….Sittings and placement were similar except this time I could see a big selection of wine to choose from with the bar right at the entrance. (Maybe they had it at the old location but I cannot remember)

The 3 of us went for the birthday promotion to celebrate our dar’s birthday! The birthday promo was 2 full priced entree and the 3rd one goes free. For starters we had the Lawry’s spinning salad and everything was served super cold (including ice cold fork!) so maybe that is why the lettuce was crispy! The other 2 went for the Lawry’s Cut which was a thick thick chunk of their steak and I went for the English cut which was 3 super thin slices. Lawry’s cut would be suitable if you love your meats or is a big eater as I felt it was too much. Additional side order of sizzling mushroom platter was added on.

happy bday!
Birthday girl was happy and entirely enthralled by the Lawry’s server’s Happy birthday song! “Many happy returns and manyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more!”
They even took a birthday shot for us and it was promptly emailed to us the next day……

Thank you very much for the wonderful time. I would never have ventured to such places and experience so much love in my life, without you and Q 🙂
