Chanced upon this steak chain from USA when I was looking for a place for a mini celebration. (I only know about Lawry’s and no others) From the reviews, this place definitely looks promising and it was full house on a random Thursday night and they were unable to fulfill my last minute request for a slight change in time shows how popular this place is.

Explaining what is served that night
After been showed into our seats, the server pushed a trolley loaded with the ingredients of the day towards our table. Explaining the various cuts of steaks inhouse and food alternatives for non steak eaters…..However, our server was speaking soooooooooooo fast that I could barely catch up with him. I guess, repeating the same “script” to a full house daily made him speak like a robot some how…but he was really attentive so that made up for it.

For starters, half a dozen of fresh pacific oysters.

lobster bisque
Some lobster bisque to share, it was rich and the brandy taste was prevalent. 1 great thing was that, they were ready to portion out whatever order you had.

Cajun Steak
Cajun rib eye steak, juicy and soft and thoroughly full of flavor….(but it was really salty though)

New York strip loin

1 of the softest NY strip loin steak I ever had, usually I could take forever to cut up a NY strip loin and it is not my favorite steak but the server, said to me full of confidence: I guaranteed that this would be the softest NY strip loin you ever had and it would be on the house if it is not. I gamely took up the challenge…1 tip if anyone wants to head there ever, SHARE the steak, economical and also not so much work to our stomachs 🙂 ! Our mistake was to order 2 orders of steak and it was a really effort to finish those 2 huge slices of expensive meat (not that it was not delicious but it was definitely too much!)

Even though stuffed full, how come we miss the signature hot chocolate cake for our little celebration 🙂
