Asians Night out

rice bowl cafe
Desperate for some Asian food after feeding on too much tacos and cheese and sandwiches. Anna brought me to Rice bowl Cafe up in North Austin to get the Asian food yearn fixed.

beef roll and rice
Food was pretty authentic, the beef roll with light sesame soy sauce was already very filling, had a order of decent rice cooked in a rice cooker for myself (that would be another story on my adventures of getting cooked rice over here)

highly recommended is the stewed pork trotter, which soft and highly flavored. The broth of the beef noodles were pretty closed to what I had tasted before in Taiwan. The huge portions is more of a Texas thing.

texas outdoor bar
My 1st night out after years away, almost forgot how laid back the night scene can be if you go to a outdoor bar. this one has hula hoops and table tennis.

real mexican tacos
Night ended with some authentic Mexican tacos wrapped with pork and pineapple, yummy. But 1 thing for sure is that I am definitely too old for staying out till 2am. But it was all good fun for catching up sakes.

**been updating the past 2 entries with the ipad2, it ain’t too bad…. 🙂 **
