Save the Date Photoshoot

This was the main reason why I went to Houston. I was honored to be asked by Jin-cent to head over to Houston to be the photographer for their engagement/save the date photoshoot.

In USA, people would usually send a save the date card few months before the wedding to inform of guests of their wedding before the official wedding cards. These photos are usually taken in casual setting to capture the new couple in their day to day lives. I was honored that they trust me enough to be their photographer who usually has food as her subjects instead of people but it was a fun experience and have a little understanding how tough a photographers’ lives are. It was very tiring to take such photos for 2.5 hours and out of 360 photos taken, I would say only 50 came out well or acceptable to me.

Some of the photos that turned out better…..After the session, I realized that I wouldn’t mind trying it again for fun….tiring as it was but there was a sense of satisfactions when the new couple picked out the ones that they like.
