Ebisu, Japan – Day 1 (a)

Breakfast
After a really bumpy flight out to Tokyo (post Roke Typhoon)…arriving and enduring a long immigration line at the Haneda airport (yup, I finally did the SIN-HND flight route this time with Singapore airlines. I love the fact that I can arrive to my Tokyo destination in 1 hour but of course I have to pay a much higher air fare for it) Woke up the next morning at 11am for a small brunch.

Japan Drip Coffee
Love these little drip coffee bags from Japan but then only if you are not a stronger taste coffee drinker as Japanese coffee for some reason is not as aromatic as I would prefer.

Kimu Katsu @Ebisu
Finally made it to Kimu Katsu shop in the late noon. I saw this shop on TV from this Japanese variety show called “時短生活ガイドSHOW” (in Chinese, “超省時生活”) and wanted to check it out after watching it on TV. We went to the main shop in Ebisu, they have a few branches around Tokyo city too.

Salad
Free flow of finely cut fresh cabbage salad with vinegar dressing…Cabbage was really sweet and crunchy.

Kimu Katsu @Ebisu
I never is a Katsu fan as it was usually dry from the ones I had at home but this shop is famous for producing juicy deep fried Katsu made with thinly sliced pork stacked. Thee is a huge variety of deep fried pork cutlets for you to choose from too from the original to different stuffing like Ume and cheese etc.

Strawberry sherbet
Strawberry sherbet for the dessert.

Shawdows @Ebisu
