Differences between French & USA Lancome Bi-Facil Eye Make up Remover

I have been using the Bi-facil eye make up remover for many years, but I just realised it recently that the bi-facil from France and from USA are quite different in terms of packaging and in ingredients. I had always been buying my bi-facil from USA due to my frequent visits and Lancome is generally cheaper there compared to Singapore. However, I got a bottle from the DFS Changi airport recently and found that it was vastly different from its USA twin sister even though they had the same names and volume size.
Maybe the differences are a known fact but I only became to be aware of this after I put them side by side (kudos for skincare hoarding)

Left: Made in France, bought in DFS Singapore, clear bottle cap.

Right: Made in USA, bought in Lancome USA, white bottle cap.

Another clear distinction is that the lipid phase of the Made in France bottle is definitely a shade darker compared to the USA one which is of a lighter blue color.

On the left, Made in France bottle:
5714401 Contains: Aqua/Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, isohexadecane, CI 61565/Green 6, decyl glucoside, sodium chloride, polyaminopropyl, biguanide, dipotassium phosphate, copper sulfate, geraniol, disodium EDTA, potassium phosphate, citronellol, hexylene glycol and parfum/fragrance

On the right, Made in USA bottle:
540704 This exclusive French formula contains: Cette fomule Francaise Exclusive content: Aqua/Water/EAU, Cyclopentasiloxane, isohexadecane, sodium chloride, poloxamer 184, hexylene glycol, dipotassium phosphate, benzyl aclohol, potassium phosphate, quaternium-15, benzalkonium chloride, parfum/fragrance, citronellol, geraniol and D28137/1

As we can see, there are quite a few different ingredients in each formula, no wonder I was wondering why the French bottle after shaking the lapid and water phase together and when it was sitting there to be separated. The mixture always looked so milky and like there was a chemical reaction causing precipitation. Maybe it was just due to habitual usage, I felt that the USA formula is not so oily.

In any case, both formulas still worked wonders for removing waterproof eye make up but I still personally prefer the USA formula.
