Maisen (まい泉) looks like a popular tonkatsu chain as there was a long queue when I went there for lunch and half of the crowd in line was foreigners.
Lunch sets were much cheaper compared to their dinner set pricing and each day, there are about 4 types of limited sets sold at a much lower price. This minced meat tonkatsu was sold at 840JPY.
Abraxis’s curry tonkatsu was 980JPY and I felt that tonkatsu with sliced pork still tasted much better.
Only in Japan, you can place your bag at their designated bag corner and still eat in peace without worry that your bag would be gone when you are done with your meal.
A quick walk around Omotesando
Omotesando is a more upscale shopping area but with younger crowd compared to Ginza.
Lots of interesting cafes and wine bars if shopping is not your interest.
