Cutesy window shopping in Tokyo

Iphone cases are big business here as I noticed that many Japanese were touting iphones with some even having 2 phones. 1 typical clam shell Japanese phone and another iphone. Many shops across Tokyo were selling different types of iphone cases, though they do not come cheap. A typical printed iphone would cost around 1600JPY here though they do come in better quality than those we buy from the night market back at home.

Sharing some of the interesting cases I saw both in Tokyu Hands and Loft. This case is for the JR Yamanote line fans.

Faux switches at the back of your case? But i think it would help to support the iphone to standing position.

The series of apple magic cases were interesting. Basically they are clear cases with prints in interesting positions and shapes around the apple logo. Gorilla holding an apple.

Stitch wants an apple too.

My personal favorite. Very simple design but brings a smile to me.

Clip on home button, I guess attaching it to the 30pin output they would drop off so easily like the stick on ones.

Usually, I do not spend so much on iphone casings but being in Japan is an excuse to indulge in one. I got a designed in Japan Air Jacket with Winnie the pooh design and a nicely fitted ear phone jack accessory – pastel color macaroons (just right for Spring!)

QR codes are frequently used here, diary notebooks or moleskin note books are pretty big here too. If you do not have an instant camera and would like to keep your photos in digital mode. With these QR stickers, you can write down the memories into your diary notebooks and paste these QR stickers on the entry. Whenever you want to relive your memories, you can scan the QR sticker in that entry and it would go directly to the photo in your phone.

Walking away from the iphone case aisles, I chanced upon these paper hobby section. This would require a lot of patience for these art work and a tweezers too.

Lots of cute memo pads and sticky tapes too…Ah, totally cute for my school notes but…..I have to resist these expenditures in this Kawaii land…

(though I have to admit, my potato chip snacking is at a dangerous level…..so many different flavors seen at the different convenience stores daily… >_<)
