Unoya Shinjuku (卯乃家 西新宿野村ビル店)

Sunset in Shinjuku.

Shinjuku
Sunsets at about 430pm nowadays. Nights are cold and long…..

You almost don’t need to pack anything when you travel to Japan. Either the hotel you are staying put in could provide you with everything you need if not anything can also be bought at the convenience store

Unaya 卯乃家
My first time trying out Japanese-Italian food which means the food served is actually Italian but with a heavy Japanese flavor in it.

Unaya 卯乃家
As the restaurant is only level 49, seating are mainly tables near the windows if not counter seats at the bar.

Unaya 卯乃家
In Japa, the server would take your drink order once you are seated and leave you alone after for you to decide on your food. On the right, we have the drink Shandygaff (Gingerale mixed with beer), a popular drink in Japan.

Unaya 卯乃家
Parma ham salad.

Unaya 卯乃家
Kinda like a salad spring roll, raw salmon wrapped with lettuce leaves and rolled with beancurd skin.

Unaya 卯乃家
Mushroom and garlic hot olive oil dip with bread.

Unaya 卯乃家
Miso pork cutlet, my favorite as it was really flavorful.

Shinjuku
So we were were stuffed full with food on this cold night in Shinjuku…..
