Soushian Korean Restaurant (草思庵)

Visited this Korean restaurant as one of my classmates is working here. The eatery was highly recommended for its authentic Korean cooking. The entrance of the restaurants was filled with bottles of Chinese herbal wines which are really used in some of the cooking steps.

Makgeolli served in a ceramic bowl and to be scooped out with a gourd. Alternatively you can just pour out from the little sprout.

Cucumber kimchi

Raw beef served with apple slices.

Wagyu beef kalbi, agreed that the meat was tasty….but do note that the portions are small here.

Soft tofu chigae.

Almond jelly.
