Rounding up 2013

The first 2 months of the year was busy with farewells and eating out as I prep for my move to Tokyo.

Arrived in Japan, with a wonderful season to start off with: Sakura season came earlier by 2 weeks this year. Maybe to welcome me? (laugh)

Started life as a full time student again

Getting used to be in such a crowded train though I don’t like it.

Finally getting to Korube to walk through the famous snow corridor and great to have some great weather when temperatures are soaring in other parts of Japan.

We finally moved to a slightly bigger place that allows 2 people to have some personal space 😛

Summer in Japan is filled with fireworks and ladies decked out in Yukata.

The long haul trip this year was a trip to the happiest country in the world, Bhutan. It was really an eye opener.

Then we welcomed the autumn season, although I was unable to visit Kyoto for their famous foliage but we still managed to catch some beautiful leaves in Tokyo.

Right after Halloween was over, we see various and very pretty Chirstmas illumination.

My second Japanese new year but first attempt with making osechi (traditional new year food) with this I wish everyone would have a good if not great new year!
