Seoul Accommodation

Welcome to Seoul
[Throwback April] We made a last minute weekend trip to Seoul in April. What do I mean by last minute? It meant that he says, I am so tired from all the work and let us go somewhere on a SATURDAY night and by Sunday we had our air tickets and accommodation booked for a flight the following Thursday night. Besides the flight, accomodation DMZ tour booked, we didn’t have much idea of what actually we wanted to do for the 3 days.

Booking the accommodation was a frenzy for us since it was only 4 days to departure and most places were fully booked or not available on the dates that we wanted. Finally managed to book 2 nights at Skypark Myeongdong 1 which was near to exit 6 of Myeongdong Station.

The twin room was actually quite tiny but you have everything you need for your stay. Just that it was really really tiny (comparable to a Japanese business hotel)

This hotel ties up with Etude house and so you can see Etude house corner at every level where you can check out your make up and try out the new nail polish colors.

Of course, amenities in the room is also from Etude House.

Conrad Seoul
Since I still have some Hilton points outstanding so I decided to check ourselves in at Conrad Seoul for our last night which was a little far from everything since it was on Yeouido (The Seoul IFC area)

Conrad Seoul
Just like any Conrad chain, the room was huge and perfect for chill out for 2 tired souls to rest before return to Tokyo.

The only thing that marred our trip was the haze that was lingering in the Seoul air for the 3 days we were there.

Etude House toiletries in a hotel – so cuuuute! Yes, sometimes we just need a luxury hotel to truly rest up. Conrad looks really nice 🙂
