headed out to Roppongi Hills early in the morning hoping to be within 50 people in the line before 10am. Just for this coupon that allows you to buy the limited 50 bottles per day…of….
All this work just to try out this Summer novelty item – Ice Bottle Coca Cola
Oh you Japan Coca Cola, so evil! Why do Japanese have all these fun ideas？
The 50 pieces of coupons are all distributed at 10am (1 coupon per person) but you can only buy it at 12pm. A lucky thing is that they have this Summer festival ongoing right now so it was just perfect (more on that in another post)
So finally, at 12pm….everyone who got the coupon rushed to the pop up store to buy their ice bottle even though you can buy it anytime from 12pm – 7pm on that day.
It is all just for the fun and novelty. It is a bottle of ice shaped like the Cola bottle which they used the funnel in around 100ml of Cola for you.
#day92 #100happydays #100happydays_sheyx #100happydays_challenge all for the sake of #novelty, woke up early to be the first 50 patrons at #roppongi hills #cocacola #coke pop up store so I can get to buy the #summer #limited #cocacola #coke ice #bottle. Yup only 50 bottles per day, a real #ice #bottle of coke. When you are done just leave it there, it will just melt away (＾ω＾)
All in a day’s of work for this icy bottle priced at 500JPY. A normal 330ml bottle only cost 130JPY in Japan.
Perfect shape of the Cola bottle. However, it was damn cold and it was tough to try to take selfies and photos while the bottle melts in your hand.
But I wasn’t the only ones busy with photo taking 😉
People who didn’t get the chance to buy it was looking at us in envy ( I hope) especially the kids who was scrambling all over to touch the bottles . After you are done just insert your ice bottle into this holder and it would melt away! It was a little pricey for such a bottle of Cola but the experience overwhelms it 🙂
