Final stop for our flowers expedition in Hokkaido would be Farm Tomita, the largest lavender farm in Japan.

They have a huge area of lavender and other flowers. Good place for your to spend 1-2 hours here.

We were there late July which was almost the end of the lavender season.

But other flowers were still in full bloom.

The lavender extract distillery was also on site where you can see how they extract the lavender essence.

1 stalk of dried lavender is around 150JPY but you cannot bring plants back on a plane as most countries are pretty strict with the mports of plants and animals.

The famous Irodori field where you get to see the rainbow colored flowers.

Popura Farm
Just 5 minutes drive away would be this popular dessert store.

Half a melon with ice cream is 1200JPY.

    @yb: sigh, that was my fault….I told my family since we going to eat ice cream later, might as well wait to have lavender ice cream + melon. End up they DONT HAVE lavender ice cream there!!!! I want to drive them back to tomita farm to eat but they say don’t need…*sob sob* supid me
