Kasouyo Japanese Cafe (花想容)

Who would expect a Kimono shop/ cafe would be nestled in this quiet Mejiro neighborhood of residential area. Surprise hidings in Tokyo!

This is actually a kimono shop/ kimono wearing school.

which transfer to a cafe for 3 days a week.

I visited in late August so it was a little warm as there was not much ventilation in this house but I think it would nice when the weather cools down for kimono fabric lovers where you can admire the kimono fabrices and accessories while you enjoy your tea.

My friend got the maccha and egg plant bun set for 850JPY.

I just got myself a cup of maccha to sip on while we catch up over small talk. The biscuit munchies was so cute.

If you are into traditional Japanese style, this cafe would be worth a visit since it was so quiet but it is a little out of the way in Mejiro.
