Gattopardo Ristorante di Mare

Hello everyone! Can you believe that we are already 2 weeks past 2015? Time flies really fast! I was away the last 1.5 weeks of December to spend Christmas and New Year in Japan with my family and took a break from writing to catch up on other non-internet moments. (Well, actually I am just being lazy) But my instagram is pretty updated with the sights I saw in Japan during its winter and I guess it is time I put more words to the tons of photos from Japan on this blog. While I sort out the Japan photos, I have a couple of backdated entries to post. 😛

[Throwback October] We decided to book this restaurant from the available Restaurant Week list last minute to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Cozy and clean set up.

You can also request for outdoor seating if you don’t mind the heat if you prefer some privacy.

appreciating the art and design on the plates.

Restaurant week menua, however we also notice that patrons that day could also order either from this menu or their ala carte…..

A small bite of savory rice teaser.

This was really delicious, poached egg with caviar and cream. Maybe I have grown to love onsen tamago in Japan so any egg cooked in this texture is going to go well with me.

Pasta with duck shreds.

I took the fish entree

He took the pork entree which tasted better.

Entrees were average but the tiramisu was definitely thumbs up.
