[Throwback January] Since it was close to CNY and our birthdays, a big group of us headed over to Jade Fullerton to try out their dim sum buffet. They have 2 seatings, each lasting about 1.5 hours. I guess age had caught up with us, the same group that could pile plates after plates in Seoul gardens was way back in history that we were all too stuffed beyond words in the hurried sessions. I guess, relax slow eating is more apt for our age.
There were extensive dim sum choices but there were some items that could only be ordered once. For examples, the shark’s fin soup, Lobster congee and chilli crab buns.
I am really a big fan of the deep fried yam dumplings and of course there were the usual mix of chinese dim sum like siew mai and chicken feet.
Steamed pork ribs, xiao long bao, prawn dumpling and chinese chives gyoza.
More savory items like the roast pork, wasabi prawns etc
The most popular item from our group would be the carrot cake as we ordered at least 15 of it.
By the time the chao siew buns and coffee ribs arrived, we were like….who ordered this?!
Would recommend for big and quick eaters else it would too taxing on your tummies. I still prefer to sip my dim sum tea leisurely and relax.
